The Adventure Pack

Coco was feeling playful from the moment she got off leash on the trails today.  She flailed a twig all over the place and rolled around on her back until she enticed Wesley into chasing her.  Later on, Benny and Rucksack had a good chase together as we crossed a bridge coming down from the 3rd Flatiron.  The bridge goes over a small creek that's dried up right now, and they seemed to be playing a form of king-of-the-mountain, with the bridge serving as the mountaintop.

The Play Pack

It really has warmed up fast in the past couple weeks and the dogs are still getting used to the heat.  Benny and Oso both spent a good deal of time hanging out in the shade by the building that borders the park.  Oscar was far less mindful of the heat and he played a lot of fetch today.  When he wasn't chilling, Oso was going about from dog to dog throughout the park, just getting acquainted with everyone.  He was noticeably more responsive to coming when I called him today even though I haven't seen him for the past couple weeks.  Benny followed me around as I threw the tennis ball for Oscar.  He started to get a playful posture after sniffing a Golden Retriever who was as big as Oso, but the Golden just trotted away after a minute and left Benny half-bowing with a perplexed look on his face.
