The Adventure Pack

Oliver led the way when he went off leash with his brother Benny and Benny followed behind him.  Benny lingered to get a good smell at each spot where Oliver just took a passing sniff, then trotted ahead to catch up.  Rucksack stayed on leash through the hike because of his straying yesterday.  He found a few different sticks along the way, each of which he only carried for a few minutes.  Coco and Benny had a lot of fun together in the stream like Toskey and Rucksack did yesterday, chasing each other up and down the bank and then splashing around.  Rucksack got his feet wet today, too.

The Play Pack

Coco played a lot of fetch at the park today.  She started off playing keep-away with the ball after bringing it back but then she began dropping it right at my feet and letting me pick it up without a contest.  Benny got a good belly scratch from one of the park regulars.  He started stretching contentedly and caught Coco's attention.  Coco went over and lied down in front of him and started rolling around.  They continued to roll around together and chew on the tennis ball Coco had brought over for a little while.  Maverick explored the whole park today instead of turning around halfway and heading to the area by the gate and the small dog park where he seems most comfortable.  At the end of our visit, he got Benny and Coco to chase him in, out, and around the hollowed tree trunk.  He really had a blast!
