The Adventure Pack

Coco and Benny often mouth at each other's faces and groan in the back of the packmobile while we're picking up their other packmates and heading to the trails in the morning.  Today, their groans and whines were quieter and I glanced back at them to see that they were just nibbling gently, grooming each other.  When we picked up Rucksack, he lied down in front of Mogul and Mogul rested his head on Rucksack's back.  I guess everyone was feeling very close and cozy today.

The Play Pack

Mogul was a bit more lively than usual today and spent most of his time trotting around and seeing what other dogs were up to rather than just lying down and watching them from a distance.  He, Coco, and Benny all got into a brief chase with a couple other dogs who came sprinting by them.  Coco had fun running with a frisbee in her mouth.  It often caught the wind while she was holding it and flapped around, sometimes causing her to lose her grip.  Benny came over and played tug-of-war with her over it for a bit.  Benny played a lot with a Basset Hound who jumped all over him.  Maverick hung out near the Basset Hound, too, but grumbled if the other dog approached him directly.
