Leader of the Pack

The Adventure Pack

Rucksack was particularly friendly and nosey with his packmates today.  Usually, he's more interested in staring up ahead or picking up sticks, but today he frequently turned to his packmates and sniffed/nudged them with his nose.  Mogul was the most regular recipient of Rucksack's nosings since they were walking side-by-side but he also leaned over to Benny and Coco as well.  Coco found a long, slim twig along the side of the path and Benny wanted it desperately but had trouble coordinating his movements with the stick as it bobbed about and didn't get it until Coco chewed it up into a few smaller pieces.

The Play Pack

Maverick found a play partner to run around with at the park today!  He was a young yellow Lab mix with a white streak down his nose.  They started by standing face to face with Maverick quietly grumbling.  The puppy nosed him and hopped back into a play bow when Maverick quickly spun to check him.  The next moment, Maverick gave a playful kick and they started running together.  Mogul gave Coco a good chase today and also found a dog to do a little dancing with.  Benny and Coco both had fun with a big, shaggy pup.  After a bout of playing with their new friend Benny saw me a little ways down the park, walking toward him, and he came bounding over happily to express his excitement.
