The Adventure Pack

Coco was raring to go this morning and wanted to be the first out of the car but since she was being pushy I had her wait and let Rucksack, Benny, and Mogul come out first.  Once we started walking, it was Rucksack who eagerly pulled forward but he relaxed a bit and let the leash slack after just a couple minutes and was great for the rest of the walk.  Mogul made a few pit stops to mark apparent points of interest.  Benny had his nose to the ground a lot again today.

The Play Pack

Benny was really playful at the park.  It's great to see him feeling better.  He, Maverick, and Coco ran around together for a little while.  Maverick pulled out a slick move when Coco was chasing him today; he slipped right under Benny and out the other side.  Unfortunately for Maverick, Coco is quite the athlete and just hurdled Benny to meet him without missing a beat.  Mogul joined in the action for a few quick spurts.  After a bit, Coco decided to be a bully and collided into Maverick with her superior size.  I stepped over and sternly told her "no!" but the two of them had already started barking at each other and weren't really paying attention.  At that moment, Mogul came rushing in between them, gave a stern growl, and spun around with his front legs slightly splayed to clearly address both of them- he didn't touch either of them, he just put on that display.  Coco and Maverick both got the message and immediately settled down.  Apparently Mogul doesn't like to see his packmates arguing, and I could take a lesson from him in getting the message across!
