The Adventure Pack
Everyone was pretty well soaked just a short way into today's walk. Coco stopped frequently to shake water off - every 5 minutes or so. Benny, Wesley, and Rucksack all shook themselves off as well, though not nearly as much as Coco. None of the pack seemed bothered by the rain, but Benny was definitely bothered by Coco's attempts to get dry. He was walking next to her and every time she paused to shake off, he reared back to avoid getting whipped by her tail. Rucksack and Wesley, who walked together on my other side, had no issues.
The Play Pack
Charlie, Lincoln, Benny, and I were the only ones at the dog park today. It surprisingly wasn't muddy - there were puddles but they were composed mostly of water. That will probably change by tomorrow. The pack all took turns playing keep-away with a tennis ball for a long while. First, Lincoln trotted around with the ball while Benny and Charlie followed; then, when Lincoln dropped it, I gave it a kick and Charlie dove onto it. He proceeded to flaunt it in front of his packmates as flagrantly as possible and got them to chase him for it. Once he dropped it, Benny grabbed it up and did the same. They all went back and forth like that for a long while. Later on, I threw a tennis ball for Lincoln and another one for Charlie while Benny preferred a rubber disc.
