The Adventure Pack

Everyone got wet when we went down the the bank of the creek today.  Mogul and Coco both lied down in the water, facing one another, and then they got playful and started hopping around and chasig each other - although I had to interrupt them because they were still on leash and getting everyone tangled up.  Rucksack was eager to get into the water and clearly wanted to go swimming in the middle of the creek.  Benny was less enthusiastic about the creek but he did get his front paws wet and had a drink.

The Play Pack

My parents are in town to visit over the Labor Day weekend and they joined us for today's park visit.  Benny and Coco enjoyed ear scratches from my dad on the way to the park.  Mogul was very playful with a big Boxer mix today.  He followed the Boxer all around and did a lot of spins for him.  Mogul also went over to my parents for attention every so often.  Coco did a lot of fetching today.  A little boy named Keegan borrowed my Chuckit to play with her.  I had to get the ball from Coco because she still has a habit of diving for it when people try to pick it up, and Keegan couldn't get it away from her.  Benny was pretty mellow at the park and spent a lot of time lying on his side.  He walked with us when we went down to the end of the park and back but he didn't seem to have much playful energy.  I'll have a better idea of whether his shoulder is still bothering him when the weather is cooler tomorrow.
