The Adventure Pack

It was nice and cool along the Boulder Creek Path again today.  Rucksack found a small stick by the side of the path to carry on our way back.  Coco made a few unsuccessful attempts to steal it from him, and for a little while she just chewed on it while Rucksack held it.  Coco, Rucksack, and Wesley all enjoyed a dip in the creek.  Benny wasn't interested in getting wet.  Near the end of our walk, Wesley saw a squirrel and really tensed up.  He pulled for a quick moment and then just kept looking back as we walked by.  Benny stopped in his tracks a couple times in the last 15 minutes or so of the walk.  I wonder whether his shoulder was starting to bother him again.  He didn't appear to be limping at all, but I'm going to be keeping a close eye on him for any signs of discomfort.

The Play Pack

Benny was a bit more mellow at the park today than he was yesterday.  It's hard to tell whether he's feeling sore or the heat was just too much for being playful.  Charlie was unfazed by the heat and had a good time running around with a yellow Lab mix for a while and then a German Shepherd named Sheila.  Sheila was good at anticipating his moves when they chased and dodged each other, and was able to make some big gaps between them despite Charlie's speed.
