The Adventure Pack

Today was a hot day and all the pack members were feeling it.  We took water breaks every 15 minutes and Mogul, who usually isn't interested in the water during the hike, gulped it down by the last few breaks we took.  Coco enjoyed flopping around on her back in the tall grass today - it's become one of her new favorite activities.  Rucksack only managed a small piece of wood as opposed to his usual branches and he only carried it a short way.  Oliver kept up as he usually does and seemed the least affected by the heat.

The Play Pack

Aside from lying around in the shade, Mogul followed park regular Brewster around as they sniffed the perimeter of the park together.  Mogul turned around and headed back when they were only about 1/4 of the way around, though.  Coco was intent on catching flies today.  Whenever one came near her she stared intently and then snapped at it when it got close.  Benny wasn't that playful again today but it's hard to tell whether it's because of soreness or just because of the heat.  Maverick was pretty aloof but I followed him around as he explored the park more today and Coco and Benny joined us.
