The Adventure Pack
Everyone was good on leash today. Rucksack, who often tries to pull ahead, stayed right with me with barely a tug throughout the hike. Coco wanted to get playful with Mogul right when we started out but Mogul ignored her while she play-bowed around him and gave short, high-pitched barks. Toskey kept pace without going ahead or lagging behind but she often wandered off to the side of the trail. We moved along pretty quickly with water breaks every 15 minutes. Mogul often seems annoyed by the stream of water at first and turns away but then i squirt some into the side of his mouth and he starts lapping it up. Rucksack, on the other hand, is always over-enthused and chomps at the water clumsily. Toskey and Coco both have it down; they step up, set their ears back, and lick the water up efficiently.
The Play Pack
Mogul lounged in the shade for a lot of the visit, as usual; however, he got excited when a Boston Terrier named Bill showed up. He followed Bill around for a while as Bill sniffed around. After, they took poised play positions and then Bill yipped at Mogul and Mogul spun. Coco and Benny each had a turn of mouthing around with their friend Lincoln. Other than that, they were both pretty mellow at the park today, too.
