The Adventure Pack

Benny and Rucksack were very playful with one another at the beginning of today's hike.  Benny has usually been the instigator between them but today Rucksack did his fair share of prodding and teasing Benny into play as well.  Coco was jealous watching her packmates play without her and she kept crouching down then hopping up into the air as she didn't know what else to do with herself.  Oliver followed his usual routine of staying either just ahead or just behind me and leaving scent marks frequently.

The Play Pack

Benny had a lot of energy still left over when we got to the park and he took a more active role than usual in playing with Coco and Charlie.  Usually he just play-bows and follows his packmates around at a distance while they chase and wrestle with each other, but today he was running right alongside them and making pokes of his own while either Coco or Charlie flopped around on the ground teasingly during a wreslting session.  Unfortunately for Benny, Coco and Charlie still paid most of their attention to each other and only turned to Benny occassionally.  Benny was also more enthusiastic about chasing down balls and went for a lot of them - not only the ones I threw straight to him - so I kept him entertained with that for a while.
