The Adventure Pack

Rucksack carried a log along for the hike today.  It was pretty hefty but he managed to bring it all the way up and most of the way back down.  He and Wesley got wet (and a bit muddy) together in the stream at the beginning of our hike.  Everyone stuck pretty close together today.  Coco didn't display her usual antics of flopping around in the grass; she was pretty mellow throughout the hike.  Benny was also his usual, mellow self.

The Play Pack

Charlie was full of energy and was a little overwhelming for his puppy friend Baxter when Baxter first entered the park.  After drawing Charlie away to settle down for a minute, I let him go to play more with Baxter.  Thankfully, Charlie stopped barking and they just had a fun time together.  I played some more catch with Benny today.  His tail wags and he gets really interested in the ball but he doesn't try to go for it unless I throw it pretty much right to him.  Coco enjoyed fetching the long throws and she was really good about dropping the ball for me after she brought it back.
