The Adventure Pack

Rucksack was happy to splash around in the stream again today though not quite as exuberant as yesterday.  Mogul lied down for his usual soak while Coco and Benny meandered around the banks and trotted through the water.  Coco was the big stick carrier today; she started off with a small chunk of wood and then upgraded to a branch partway through the hike.  Benny and Rucksack both had a brief gnaw on it but Coco didn't give it over to either of them.

The Play Pack

Our old friend and packmte Marley has returned from CA and had her first outing again with the pack.  She was a little shy at first - she peed when she greeted me and I had to scoop her up into the car because she was hesitant to hop in with Mogul, Coco, and Benny already in there.  At the park, though, she relaxed and got playful with Coco.  The two of them chased each other up and down the park and were joined by a big, friendly Staffordshire Terrier named Samson.  Meanwhile, Benny and Mogul wandered the park for a while and then both ended up lying in the shade.  Later on, Coco and Benny stood side-by-side for a while, nipping at a couple pesky flies in the air.
