The Adventure Pack

Everyone was happy to splash around in the water during the beginning of today's hike but Rucksack was easily the most enthusiastic splasher.  Coco lied down in the water while Benny and Wesley walked around in it with calm and content smiles; Rucksack ran up and down the stream over and over, occassionally stopping and popping his head up and looking at me and his packmates as if to say, "AREN'T YOU EXCITED!?!"

The Play Pack

After spending the first few minutes on leash to remind him to relax and not be too pushy when he greets other dogs, Charlie was great for the most of the rest of the visit.  He started to get a little pushy with a blond labradoodle - barking at him and herding him into a corner - but he responded immediately when I called his name and snapped my fingers, and he stopped harassing the other dog.  Charlie and Coco had a lot of fun running together.  Charlie is really fast and he starts off chasing Coco but then ends up ahead of her with Coco chasing after him.  Benny was very interested in a big black Lab that came to the park today and kept nibbling on his side and licking his face.
