The Adventure Pack

Rucksack was back to his exploring self today, wandering around up ahead and seeing what was off trail.  Coco also did her fair share of off-trail exploration, as usual.  Mogul kept up and actually stayed ahead of me for most of the hike.  Benny followed his packmates around, checking out whatever interesting smells they found.  The cloud cover helped to keep things cooler than I expected throughout the hike.

The Play Pack

We walked up and down the length of the park a few times today but spent most of the time in the shade of the big tree by the entrance of the Valmont dog park.  While we were out walking about, I let Mogul lead the way.  I'm trying to figure out how to get him engaged more at the park because he's very particular about who he plays with and as a result ends up just watching his packmates a lot of the time.  He almost got interested in a tennis ball but gave up on it after Coco snatched it out from under him a couple times in a row.  Later on, Coco found a disc and brought it over for me to throw.  She and Benny played tug-of-war over it, followed by a round of keep-away whenever one of them managed to get it from the other.
