The Adventure Pack

Wesley and Coco spent the first leg of our trip off leash together but there wasn't any playful romping today.  Wesley and Coco both put all of their energy just into hiking uphill.  Coco occassionally wandered a few steps off the side of the trail to sniff but didn't do the advance scouting that she usually does; Wesley just followed behind me the whole time.  On the way down, Rucksack was anxious to get to certain favorite spots along the trail and wandered ahead a bit.  There's one big shaded grove along the Amphitheatre trail that has a little water that runs through it and Rucksack and Benny both ran ahead to hang out there for a minute.  Then, down by the Gregory Canyon trailhead, Rucksack ran down to the creek but Benny stayed close to me and his other packmates.

The Play Pack

Brady has been having more and more fun chasing after Charlie lately.  In recent weeks, he's tried to pounce on Charlie while Charlie's busy wreslting around with Coco but today Brady got Charlie's full attention for a little while.  Later, Charlie wrestled and chased with Keeyush (a Malamute/Shepherd mix) and then he and Coco lied in the shade, rolled around, and chewed on one another.  Benny stood by and watched his packmates for the most part.  He joined in a few runs but wasn't the center of any of the action today.
