The Adventure Pack

Toskey and Rucksack romped while Coco jumped up and down in place, watching them intently.  Toskey and Rucksack both managed to restrain themselves from rushing too far ahead as we approached the stream at Gregory Canyon.  They had a good splash once we got there.  Later, Coco ran around in circles in the tall grass while Mogul watched her.  A few times, Mogul pounced into the grass and Coco darted away and ran a big loop around us, then passed right up alongside Mogul as if to say "catch me if you can!"

The Play Pack

Coco and Benny were back to their games of keep-away today after Coco spent a little time playing fetch with me.  Later on, Benny and Mable played together.  Benny's brother Oliver is a little Yorkshire Terrier so he's used to playing with small dogs.  Mable had a lot of fun jumping on his head, and sometimes right into his gaping mouth, while Benny rolled his head around in a tempered, inviting way.  Mable also played with Brady - diving out of nowhere to give him a quick nip at the scruff of his neck and then spinning around to prepare for his response.  Brady wasn't really interested in chasing her, though.  He chased after a tennis ball a few times but mostly spent his time following me around.  I thought that the cool, humid weather would be right up Mogul's alley today but he was as mellow as ever as he spent most of our time at the park lying down.  He walked around a bit with a German Shorthaired Pointer who was there with a woman Mogul knows from Dog City and he got up to say hello to most other dogs who came by.
