The Adventure Pack

Benny and Rucksack really enjoyed each other on the trails today.  In the car, Benny often nibbles on Rucksack and Rucksack paws at him and whines at him.  On the trail, Rucksack was the instigator and kept running up to Benny and rubbing his head and neck against Benny's chest to kept him wound up.  Then Rucksack would hop back and Benny chased him around a bit until he lost interest, at which point Rucksack nosed nudged him around to play again.  Coco had fun running around Mogul while we made our way back.  She stood off to the side of the trail and watched him pass then darted out behind him.  If Mogul reacted and spun around to meet her, she took off to the brush again; if he ignored her and kept walking she just settled down and fell in line behind him.

The Play Pack

Coco spent some time flopping around on her back in front of Benny today with a tennis ball in her mouth.  After a little while, she also caught the attention of a 6-month-old pup who was probably a Sharpei/Lab mix, and Benny and the pup both hopped around her and nudged her with their noses while she flailed around with her treasured tennis ball.  Osiris ran from spot to spot, saying hello to a dog or two and then wandering off to see what else was going on.  Osiris, Benny, Mogul, and Coco all followed me down to the far end of the park and back a few times, romping here and there along the way together, though we spent most of our time by the entrance where there's shade from a big tree.
