The Adventure Pack

We've started hiking up the Amphitheatre Trail this month and we pass by the creek that runs by the Gregory Canyon trailhead both on our way up and on our way back.  On the way up, Rucksack and Wesley both rushed up ahead and around the corner to go splash in the water.  On the way back, it was Coco and Benny's turn.  Coco was totally well mannered when we passed other hikers today - not a hint of woofing or uncertainty about them.  Rucksack was better about not wandering too far, too.  Wesley and Benny both stuck close by and were friendly with passers-by as usual. 

The Play Pack

Charlie stuck closer with me and his packmates more than he has been lately.  He's tended to wander off as soon as we enter the park in search of new playmates but today he followed me, Benny, and Coco as we walked around the perimeter and he and Coco had some good chases and bouts of wrestling.  Later on, Benny worked on pruning a small tree with the help of Buzz (usuing their teeth).  Meanwhile, Charlie was wiggling around on his back while Coco and the yellow Lab pup from yesterday gnawed at his kicking legs.
