The Adventure Pack

When we picked up Rucksack, his sister and brother (both human) were home and said hello to all of the pack members.  Benny was the first to poke his head out the car, sniff at the air, and lick the nearest face.  Wesley snuck his head up under Benny's and got an ear scratch.  Coco was a little nervous about being approached in the car by people she didn't know and stayed back inside.  On the trails, Rucksack found a stray tennis ball and carried it with us for most of the hike.  Benny and Coco trotted around side-by-side.  Wesley spent most of the time right behind me, as usual, with a few brief chases after Rucksack.

The Play Pack

For the first time in a while, Coco didn't tease Benny with her tennis ball and they didn't wrestle around with one another.  She did play fetch for a while, though.  Benny wrestled around with a German Shepherd mix named Bowser.  Charlie wanted in on Benny and Bowser's play and got a little too pushy with barking in their ears so he had a brief time out to settle down.  Charlie just went for one quick dip in the mud puddle at the beginning of our visit and then left it alone for the rest of the time.
