The Adventure Pack

Coco was the first to pick up a stick today and Benny wanted it for himself.  After they spent a little time playing tug-of war with it while they were still on leash at the head of the trail, I took it from both of them so we could make some progress.  Once we got further up the trail, I let them both off leash and gave them the stick to enjoy again.  They played much the same way as they do when Coco taunts Benny with tennis balls at the park.  Later on, Rucksack was a good boy and didn't wander too far when he had his turn off leash.  I urged Mogul to go ahead of me when he started lagging and then he spent the rest of the time leading the way.

The Play Pack

Mogul was playful at the park today.  He met a Lab mix who got him hopping and dancing around a bit.  The Lab mounted him and Mogul either didn't realize or didn't care for a few moments.  I think it was the former because then Mogul suddenly spun and gave his playmate a short growl.  They continued to have fun hopping around back and forth after that.  Coco played a lot of fetch today.  She's been hanging out by my side a little more often lately, when she's not either fetching or teasing Benny with the ball.  Benny made friends with a couple young white pups who enjoyed tugging on his floppy ears.  He was sweet with the little ones and their guardians were happy to see how friendly and tolerant he was.
