The Adventure Pack

Rucksack was really energetic again today.  When I picked him up he was hopping around and play-bowing for me.  Once we hit the trails, he was actually a little tamer than yesterday.  Wesley followed him all around at first before falling into line behind me later on; this seems to be becoming a habit.  Later on, Benny followed while Coco led in sniffing and exploring all the interesting things alongside the trail.  Coco also likes to run up onto big rocks to get a better view of the terrain and Benny followed her up there; but while Coco was staring off into the distance Benny's nose was glued to the rock beneath his feet.

The Play Pack

Charlie spent about half our park visit splashing and flopping around in a huge mud puddle that collected by the fence at the Foothills Dog Park.  In the course of chasing one another (and a few other dogs) around, Coco and Benny also splashed through the puddle but Charlie didn't just splash through it - he bathed.  He was especially vocal today and barked at Coco when she was ignoring him and he wanted to play.  Coco really enjoyed teasing Benny with a tennis ball.  She walks right up to him and leans her face against his and chews on the ball while it's against his cheek.  When he goes for it, she spins around and hip-checks him or just maneuvers her head away in a leading fashion.  Benny opens his mouth wide and swings his head around, trying to catch Coco while she dances around right in front of him.
