The Adventure Pack

Everyone was full of energy today!  Rucksack and Toskey ran up the trail and back over and over when they were off leash together despite the steep incline up the First Flatiron.  When Coco and Benny had their turn on the way down, Coco ran down the trail and back while Benny hung back to sniff around periodically and then ran up to catch his packmates.  The ground was soft from all the rain we've had recently but it wasn't quite muddy.

The Play Pack

The Valmont dog park is temporarily closed while they work on some renovations so Coco and Benny got to check out the East Boulder Community Center dog park.  We went up to the edge of the pond and Coco and Benny sniffed around hesitantly for a bit.  Before long, Coco plunged in to snatch up a floating tennis ball.  We played fetch for a while in the water.  Benny watched Coco swim and greeted her happily everytime she came back to shore but he didn't venture past getting his paws wet.  When we spent some time up on dry land, Coco teased Benny with her tennis ball and he chased her all around.  A husky and a couple yellow labs joined in their here and there.
