The Adventure Pack

Toskey and Rucksack explored off leash together on our way up the First Flatiron today.  They mostly stuck together, although Rucksack sometimes lingered behind to sniff around a bit longer while Toskey caught up.  Coco and Mogul got their turns off leash on our way back down.  Mogul's tendency to hang back seems to increase when we're going down switchback and he can see the rest of us from up above.  Coco, on the other hand, likes to play the role of an advance scout and check out the trail ahead then wait for us to catch up before she goes further down the trail again to see whatever the situation is along the next stretch.  There was alot of panting in the heat today.  Everyone got a drink from the CamelBak when we reached the halfway point of our hike.

The Play Pack

Everyone was a bit more mellow today, likely due to the very warm weather.  Coco and Benny did a little bit of wrestling around in their usual style, but all of their moves were noticeably slower.  Benny found a friend in a black and tan shepherd of some sort and spent a good while mouthing her and nibbling her fur.  Mogul did a little dance with her as well.  Other than that, Mogul spent most of his time lounging.
