The Adventure Pack

Benny followed Wesley around for the most part during today's hike.  At one point they were standing side-by-side on the trail just up ahead and they each glanced back over opposite shoulders to look at me.  I wish I had my camera out to catch it - it was really cute!  Rucsack didn't carry any sticks on today's hike but he did find a pinecone up on the First Flatiorn to bring down with him.  Coco usually tries to steal Rucksack's sticks but the pinecone didn't leave anything sticking out of Rucksack's mouth for her to grab a hold of so she let her packmate carry on undisturbed.

The Play Pack

Coco and Benny had a lot of fun together at the park today.  Coco has gotten into the habit of carrying a tennis ball up to other dogs and flaunting it in their faces.  When they try to go for it she starts dodging and hip-checking them and they wreslte together while Coco is chewing on the tennis ball the whole time.  She teased Benny the same way today.  Sometimes she even shifted it in her mouth so it was half sticking out.  Benny would immediately go for it and then she'd shift it back into her mouth all the way so he couldn't.  Instead, Benny would just chew on her nose and they would continue to wrestle.  Meanwhile, Charlie had a blast with a young pup named Sammy.  Sometimes Charlie tends to chase and harass his playmates but with Sammy he mostly just kept mouthing at his chin and then flopping over onto his back and kicking around, inviting Sammy to pounce on him.
