The Adventure Pack

Coco spent some time off leash with Rucksack on the hike today.  They really like to wrestle around with one another.  They didn't wander far off like they had been doing when they were last off-leash together a few weeks ago, which was great!  Later on, Mogul had fun dashing up to each of them in turn and giving them a spook.  Toskey carried a small chunk of wood along for part of the hike then left it behind after she chomped on it a bit and it crumbled.

The Play Pack

Mogul was in the mood to play at the park today, but his attention was on me for most of them time.  I ran around with the pack to try to get them chasing one another.  It worked pretty well, but Mogul would stop every so often and come stare at me, waiting for me to do something fun.  Coco and Benny had a long bout of wrestling with one another after Benny started prodding Coco for the tennis ball she was carrying around.  Later on, Benny chased Pico around.  Pico also got a couple of other dogs to run with her for a while.  She's sometimes has trouble finding playmates because she's so tentative about greeting them and she takes off at the first sign of interest by a potential play partner, but the more frequently she's out with the pack, the less shy she seems to be - today she was quite comfortable.
