The Adventure Pack

Wesley and Benny enjoyed their time off leash together.  They both like to follow behind me - Wesley trots along just a few paces back while Benny gets caught up sniffing a spot off the side of the trail and then catches up before getting distracted again.  Coco has been working on walking on-leash without pulling.  She's had more trouble with it lately than she used to.  I'm wondering whether it's a common phase - Rucksack started pulling more on the leash a few months ago and he's a few months older than Coco.  He's gotten a bit better again but still needs some more practice.  I'm glad that Rucksack's been behaving himself well off-leash lately.

The Play Pack

Shortly after we arrived at the park, I threw a tennis ball for Coco.  After chasing it down, she immediately proceeded to trot around Charlie and tease him with it.  They ran around with each other for a while, hip-checking one another frequently.  Later on I threw a tennis ball for Pico and Coco came running in from the side and hurdled over Pico to get to the ball first.  She's been showing off her agility with that move a lot lately.  There was a Border Collie mix named Poppy who Pico had fun running with and who Charlie also played with.  Benny had fun following his packmates around, nibbling on their butts while they were wrapped up in play with other dogs, and scooping up Coco's tennis ball whenever she dropped it.
