The Adventure Pack

Benny and Rucksack had a great time off leash together today.  They were both behaving very well and coming when called.  Rucksack was back to his old habit of stick-carrying.  Benny followed him around, nibbling at the end of the stick whenever he got a chance.  I caught a picture of Benny sneaking out from the brush to ambush Rucksack for his stick.  Wesley was well-behaved off-leash today, too.  He was less playful than his packmates and just trotted along behind me for most of the time.  He was happy to greet the dogs we passed now and then, lingering behind to get acquainted before catching up with his packmates.  Coco spent the hike on leash again after having a couple recent incidents of barking at passing hikers and straying too far.  We practiced sitting and letting people and dogs pass by without getting too worked up and she did well.

The Play Pack

Brady, Coco, and Charlie entered the park with a burst of energy today.  They sprinted right into a chase amongst one another.  Benny was a bit behind but he caught up and continued to play with Coco and Charlie for a while.  Charlie's been a little pushy with Coco sometimes but today he let her chase him and he also spent a lot of time lying down and inviting her to come get him.  The two of them play a lot with one another.  Benny likes to play with them, too, but he's always a little behind.  Brady chased a couple other dogs during our visit, including a young Rottweiler named Alfie who he's been interested in before.
