The Adventure Pack

Coco and Wesley hiked along at a steady pace today and were pretty mellow throughout.  Coco picked up a stick and tossed it around for a little bit.  She's been really into that lately, tossing sticks around instead of just carrying them.  I think she was trying to tease Wesley to try to go for it, but he didn't take the bait.  He was content with just trotting along today and greeting the occasional four-legged hikers we passed.

The Play Pack

Brady was vocal when Osiris hopped into the packmobile today.  Osiris is a big Alaskan Malamute and Brady does the same with his packmate Fletcher, a German Shepherd.  He really likes to let the big dogs know he's not to be pushed around.  It got him into trouble a couple months back with Keeyush (a German Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute mix) but Fletcher always just brushes him off and Osiris is the biggest sweetheart around.  Once at the park, Brady did his usual perimeter sweep, sniffing along the fence.  Osiris and Coco had a lot of fun running and wrestling with one another.  Osiris got the attention of several other dogs, too.  One was a chocolate Lab named Cooper who kept trying to mount him, as I remember him doing on a previous park visit with Osiris.  Osiris just kept turning around and slipping Cooper off of him, then turning back to play with the other dogs.
