The Adventure Pack

We met a friendly Husky as we were hiking today.  As we passed, he left a scent mark on a tree and Mogul stopped to sniff.  I guess he liked what he found out about his new acquaintance because when he turned around he had a big grin and he ran past Coco and I with exuberant leaps.  A little while later, we crossed paths with the Husky again as we were taking opposite directions on the same loop, and Mogul was very happy to see his new friend again.  Coco was excited to see the Husky again, too.

The Play Pack

It may not be the first time I've seen it, but it's the first time in memory that Mogul was actually the one being chased instead of doing the chasing.  There was a fluffy black dog who was having a good time dancing with Daisy for a little while before Coco came over and stole his attention.  Coco and the black dog ran around with one another for a while and Daisy followed at Coco's heels.  At one point in their running, they bumped into Mogul.  Mogul broke out into spins and then a few moments later her was running with Coco, Daisy, and the black dog all hot on his tail.  Brady didn't get involved in the chase.  He was a bit nervous around other dogs playing today.  He didn't run for balls when I threw them anywhere near another dog and he kept wanting to hop up in my lap.  I think he must have gotten knocked over by some playing dogs and wasn't in the mood to have it happen again.  I went off to some open space with him and then he had fun playing fetch for a while.
