The Adventure Pack

Coco and Wesley trotted along together in pretty mellow moods throughout today's hike.  They casually greeted a few other dogs we passed and they did a good job of sitting at the side of the trail and ignoring other dogs when I asked them to.  They got several comments on how well behaved they were.  Coco got a little playful toward the end of the hike and had fun tossing a stick around, but Wesley didn't join in.

The Play Pack

At the park, Wesley and Coco did some wrestling around together.  Wesley also caught the interest of Cooper, a chocolate Lab, who tried to mount him.  After several interrupted attempts, Cooper gave up and let Wesley enjoy his wrestling with Coco.  Brady chased tennis balls that a boy at the park threw for him for a while.  He also followed around a bigger dog for a bit and then ended up playing with a black Pug named Tex.  Wesley enjoyed running with his packmates when I threw the tennis ball for them, but he didn't try to beat them there - he was just along for the run.  I threw the ball right by him a few times, though, and then he leapt right for it and made a few successful retrievals.
