The Adventure Pack

Rucksack tried teasing Wesley with a stick he found.  Wesley followed him around a little bit, but then decided that the scents along the trail were more interesting.  Coco tried stealing Rucksack's stick from him while Rucksack was on leash, but I interrupted her and made her be more polite while Rucksack was on leash and not free to run with her.  I'm concerned about letting them off leash together because in recent weeks they've gone way up ahead on the trail, chasing each other while ignoring my calls.  They both do fine when they're off leash with their other packmates, though.  Benny followed Coco all around again today, like yesterday.  At one point he picked up a small stick.  Coco hopped around him to get it, but he turned his butt toward her and stood perfectly still while staring over his shoulder at her, and after a momentary standoff Coco relented.

The Play Pack

Brady was especially excited to go out this afternoon.  He's usuallly lying on the couch when I come to pick him up, and he often flops over onto his back and waits for me to come to him.  Today, he was bowing right at the door when I opened it and he danced all around when I came in.  Fletcher and Coco followed stuck close to one another at the park today, each occassionally giving a groan or whine and then mouthing at the neck of the other.Benny's eyes were bothering him a bit today - especially his right eye.  He kept rubbing the right side of his face against me and other dogs and his eyes were a little leaky.  They didn't seem to bother him earlier on the hike, but they definitely did when we were at the park.
