The Adventure Pack

Benny and Coco hopped around together on the hike today.  They're very cute together.  Once when Coco stopped to shake herself off, Benny looked at her and then followed suit and shook himself off too.  Mogul chased Toskey a little bit on the trails today.  Later, he came out of the brush alongside the trail with what looked like a stick, and he was very proud of himself.  Toskey followed him all around trying to get it.  I coaxed him over with a treat and found that it was a piece of bone.  No wonder he and Toskey were so excited!  We carried on and left the bone behind.

The Play Pack

Everyone found playmates at the park today!  Benny and Coco had a lot of fun with an energetic pup named Jengo.  Brady was interested in Jengo at first, too, but Jengo was caught up in wrestling around with the bigger dogs and didn't really notice him.  Later on, a trio of dogs wearing coats came to the park and Brady ran around after them, from one to another, his tail wagging happily.  Mogul made friends with a Weimaraner named Bennick who seemed to understand his style of play particularly well.  They had a standoff of back-and-forth spins, dodges, and chest-butts that somehow had the feel of a very strategic and sophisticated boxing match.  The Weimaraner's guardian made the comment that it seemed like they were engaged in some sort of Olympic sport with one another.
