The Adventure Pack

Oliver joined his brother Benny on today's hike with the pack.  Even though his legs are tiny, he kept up the whole time.  Throughout the hike he alternated between following next to me and following next to Benny.  Benny stayed pretty close by to me, but sometimes he went up ahead by 5 yards or so and Oliver liked to keep up with his big little bro.  Coco and Wesley had fun together on the trails.  Coco liked going up ahead a little and then turning to watch Wesley.  As Wesley approached, Coco crouched.  When he got close enough, Coco leaped out of her crouch and wiggled all around in front of him while nudging him with her nose.  Wesley would act like he didn't care and then Coco would hop away from him - and then Wesley would suddenly become interested and he'd chase her around a bit until they settled down and Coco set up her next ambush.

The Play Pack

Coco immediately found a frisbee at the park that grabbed her interest.  She had some trouble lifting it up off the ground and spent a while digging at it before she was finally able to get her teeth under it.  She trotted around proudly, flaunting her achievement in front of her packmates.  She caught Benny's interest and after she left the frisbee behind he had a go at it.  He wasn't as vigorous as Coco in his efforts to pick it up, but he had fun working at it for a while and eventually was able to flip it over and get it.  Fletcher excelled at fetching as usual.  He met a German Shorthaired Pointer who was interested in him but also intimidated.  Fletcher was curious and kept going over to sniff him.  The Pointer kind of danced forward and back before giving a bark and backing away.  Brady did some fetching of his own and played with a Dachshund/Beagle mix who really got him moving.
