The Adventure Pack

Toskey and Rucksack had a lot of fun together today.  They chased each other in circles around Coco, Mogul, and myself as we hiked.  Then Toskey found a fallen tree trunk and snapped a branch stump off to tease Rucksack with.  Mogul trotted along today without getting very worked up.  Coco barked at a couple that we passed and she didn't come to me when I called, but she did stop barking and went to the side of the trail.  I had the other pack members all sit and they got treats.  Instead of trying to coax her to come over and sit with her packmates (as I often do), I just started walking again after Toskey, Rucksack, and Mogul had their treats.  A moment later she came right up behind me and sniffed my hand, and immediately sat when I asked her to - and then she got her treat.  She settled down a bit and was much more responsive after that.

The Play Pack

Brady enjoyed a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy who I think may have been the same one that he's seen before.  He's so much bigger than Brady, but Brady likes to chase after him.  Benny and Brady also plyaed together again like last week.  Mogul found a play partner for a while who looked like a German Shepherd mix, and who was very fluffy.  Coco played a lot of fetch and also teased Benny with the tennis ball for a while.  At one point, the whole pack (and even a few other dogs) all gathered around one spot to sniff.  I looked around and didn't see anything there.  I posted a picture of them all with their noses to the ground.
