The Adventure Pack

After a couple days that were too cold for the hike, today was pretty nice.  Coco and Benny nibbled on each other's faces in the packmobile on the way to the trail, and when they were off-leash together Coco chased Benny around.  I noticed Benny try using a move on Coco - looking back at her over one shoulder to try to draw her over to that side, and then spinning around the other way as she came near so he could catch her off guard - but Benny's movements are a bit slow and Coco wasn't fooled for a second.  When Benny spun to the other side, Coco was already there to meet him!  Rucksack was really full of energy and tried getting Mogul to chase him.  Mogul ran with him a little but Rucksack was clearly hoping for a bit more.

The Play Pack

Mogul was much more playful at the park.  He was really interested in a tennis ball today.  He chased it down whenever I threw it and then proceeded to swing his head all around with it in his mouth, or pounce and bat at it like a cat.  He even brought it halfway back to me a few times!  Meanwhile, Coco had a tennis ball of her own that she teased Fletcher and Benny with for the entire visit.  Toward the latter part of the visit, Benny's interest shifted to a Border Collie mix named Taz who is about the same age as him; Fletcher continued to chase Coco while she played keep-away.
