The Adventure Pack

Mogul mostly kept up with the pack today instead of lagging behind during the hike, although he did stop to smell the roses occasionally.  At one point, Benny lied down next to the trail and rolled over onto his back, inviting Rucksack to play with him.  Rucksack had a great time pouncing at him and then pulling away, back and forth for a while, and Benny loved it.  Coco was a little spastic for a bit when she saw Benny and Rucksack playing, but she calmed down and walked very well on-leash after.

The Play Pack

Fletcher and Coco played a lot of fetch at the park today.  Coco was very good again about leaving the ball alone when I told her to, instead of diving for it and trying to steal it away.  Fletcher was faster to the ball most of the time, but sometimes Coco got a head start or scooped it up after Fletcher missed it and ran past it.  Fletcher has an interesting habit of bringing the ball back and dropping it about 15 feet to my left, causing me to walk in a clockwise circle over time.  Benny had a lot of fun with a regular named Milo and a Chesapeke Bay Retriever.  Mogul found the same person he followed around earlier in the week and was back at it again today.  He got lots of petting from his new friend.  He also hopped around a bit with a few dogs who his packmates were running around with.
