The Adventure Pack

We focused on walking on leash without pulling again for a lot of the hike today.  Coco and Rucksack both have a hard time watching one another play with other dogs without joining in; they dance around in place and whine a lot.  When they settled down and sat, they got a treat.  Benny was off leash with Rucksack and he enjoyed eating snow again.  Rucksack had a beard of snow again after romping around in it, and Benny licked it off of his face.  Mogul and Coco played their game again today where Mogul picks a spot along the trail and guards it while Coco tries to draw him away.

The Play Pack

Coco had a lot of fun playing keep-away with a rubber ball at the park today.  Benny followed her around trying to steal it but had little success.  At one point, when Coco was play-bowing and chewing at the ball to tease her packmates, Mogul suddenly popped up and dove right for it.  Coco, who is usually very good at keep-away, was so surprised that she didn't even know what happened when Mogul pranced away with the ball held proudly in his mouth.  Later on, a Staffordshire Terrier got the ball and gave Coco a run for her money.  Meanwhile, Mogul had fun chasing down a softball.
