The Adventure Pack

Benny thoroughly enjoyed the fact that he could eat the ground that he was walking on (packed snow) and spent a lot of his time during the hike doing just that.  When he wasn't nibbling at snow, he was following Coco around.  I think Coco enjoyed having a sidekick today as she urged Benny along with her.  Wesley and Rucksack spent their time off-leash together playing almost non-stop.  After short breaks, Rucksack danced all around in front of Wesley for a few moments to get him going and they started running around again.

The Play Pack

Coco caught snowballs that I scooped out of partially frozen snow clumps, and a chocolate Lab named Riley joined her.  Benny was more interested in scooping the snow up for himself and when I tried throwing a few snowballs his way he dodged them instead of trying to catch them.  Later, Coco found a few dogs who were interested in a ball she was carrying and enjoyed some games of keep-away with them.
