The Adventure Pack

Coco had a blast on her first day back in Pack Activities.  She loved the snow and had an extra kick in her step as she leaped and bounded around the trails.  For a while she had her nose down to the ground and seemed to be following a scent.  When we came to forks in the trail, she took several forks in a row that followed the same path Wesley and I walked yesterday.  Sometimes she stopped and used her paw to brush snow away and get a better sniff at the ground directly.  I wonder whether she could actually pick up that scent after a day and with the snow covering the ground, or if it was just coincidence.

The Play Pack

Pico, Coco, and I were the only ones at the park for the first half hour today.  Coco and Pico made the most of it by chasing each other up and down the entire park.  Coco found a ball buried in the snow and I threw it for them a few times before they started chasing each other again; then Pico found a ball of her own and the two of them ran around side-by-side each with their own prize.  When some others showed up later on, Pico had fun running with a Husky mix and Coco played with a chocolate Lab.
