The Adventure Pack

Rucksack found the stick he and Coco played with last Friday, and carried it along for the first half of today's hike.  I offered Wesley a small stick of his own to see if he would play like he did last week but he just stopped in place and chewed the dry piece of wood apart, then carried on and left the remains behind.  We passed another Golden Retreiver on the trails who had a very similar body type to Wesley, and I wonder whether they may have been related.  Coco hid in the tall grass next to the trail and popped out in front of Wesley to get him to chase her around.  She used that trick a few times and the two of them had a lot of fun together.

The Play Pack

Benny followed Pico around early on during our park visit, while Coco went to greet the regulars with her butt wiggling and her tail whipping around like a miniature wrecking ball.  Coco spent a lot of time wrestling around with her pal Buzz.  Buzz often lies down and their wrestling is affectionate and really cute.  Pico found a blonde Labradoodle who really enjoyed chasing her.  Benny spent a lot of his time greeting people at the park today and nuzzling them.  He also found a friend who ran circles around him while he play-bowed with a tennis ball in his mouth.  Unfortunately, I didn't think to take out my camera in time to catch that adorable scene.
