The Adventure Pack

Mogul, Rucksack, and Benny were all pretty mellow on today's hike.  They did a lot of sniffing and exploring off the sides of the trail.  Benny actually trailed behind more than Mogu, giving his full attention to every scent he passed.  Rucksack didn't carry any sticks.  It was a different sort of day.

The Play Pack

Benny immediately started playing with a fluffy black dog when we arrived at the park.  Benny makes such exaggerated and goofy motions with his paws, it's adorable to see him drop into a play-bow.  Pico got a dog who had a smokey colored coat to chase her around for awhile.  Later, she played with a dog named Molly and they chased one another back and forth.  Mogul hung out and relaxed for a lot of our visit, but then a friend he played with recently showed up and got him up and hopping around playfully.  His friend is a big (bigger than him) older black dog with a graying face whose name I didn't catch.  Seeing Mogul dance around while the other dog stood stiffly, poised for the right moment to pounce, reminded me of times when Mogul has been in the reverse role with other dogs.
