The Adventure Pack

Benny brought a rubber tire/rope toy with him today.  His attention was on his toy when Finn was in the car with him, but when we picked up Coco he forgot about it and the two of them had their usually fun wrestling around and groaning at each other.  It was a windy day out today!  When one particularly strong gust rose up, Coco and Finn stopped in place and looked back at me as if looking for reassurance that everything was ok.  Toward the end of the hike, Benny was limping while holding up his front left paw and he whimpered.  I stopped and he sat down, held up his paw, looked at me, and whimpered again; pleading me to fix it.  I took a good look at his paw and didn't see anything wrong.  When we started walking again, he stopped limping and didn't whimper anymore.  There must have been a pebble in between his pads that fell out right when I took his paw in my hand, or something like that.  He was fine the rest of the day.

The Play Pack

I would've thought Mable would have the most trouble fighting against the wind at the park, but it was Benny who had trouble standing up against some of the stronger gusts.  Mable caught the interest of a gray Poodle who followed her around for a while.  Coco and Benny both had a lot of fun wrestling with a German Shepherd mix.  I called Coco away at one point because I was concerned about them teaming up on their playmate, but the other dog refused to let either Coco or Benny ignore him and seemed to be having a blast getting them both going.  Brady chased some tennis balls today and had much more success in beating Coco to them.  Brady and Mable had some fun with one another, too.  Usually it's Mable who taunts Brady into play but today Brady went up to Mable and kept mouthing at her neck until she played with him.
