The Adventure Pack

The parking lot at Settler's Park was coned off and it looked like they were doing some tree maintenance, so we headed down to Chautauqua for the day.  Benny and Coco started off the hike with a lot of romping around together.  Rucksack was jealous, but got a chance to run around with Coco for a little bit later on.  While the two of them played, Benny got Wesley into a little bit of wrestling with him while they were on leash and we were just hanging out for a few minutes.  When Rucksack and Wesley were off leash together, they did a lot of exploring and weren't as interested in playing anymore.  Rucksack found a huge log to carry and Benny and Coco both tried to take it away at first, but I told them to let him carry it and they minded their manners.

The Play Pack

Coco and Benny played with one another pretty much non-stop at the park today.  The only exception was when other puppies came by and the two of them turned their attentions to the newcomer.  Oliver was a bit more outgoing today, and wandered up and down the park instead of just sitting in one place.  He chased after his brother sometimes while Benny was playing with other dogs.  Benny got very interested in a Dachshund and kept bowing down playfully in front of his new friend, and Oliver came over to see what was going on.  The Dachshund really liked Oliver and while Benny was trying to get the Dachshund to play, the Dachshund was in turn trying to get Oliver to play.  Oliver hung around and kept going over to the Dachshund to sniff him out, but didn't play back.  Meanwhile, Coco was barking at a huge Saint Bernard puppy who was lying down and apparently not doing enough to amuse her.
