The Adventure Pack

The cold weather has moved in for the season; thankfully it wasn't as wet today.  Yesterday's rain must have brought out some interesting scents, though, because the pack members all had their noses glued to the ground for most of the hike.  Coco and Toskey were the most avid scent-seekers but Rucksack and Wesley did a lot of investigating as well.  Other than that, there were also a few spurts of high-energy running between Coco and Toskey, and Rucksack tried to tease Wesley with a stick he found but Wesley wasn't interested, though they did romp around with one another a bit before that.

The Play Pack

When I threw the tennis ball for Brady, Fletcher, and Coco to race one another, Mable followed behind them at full speed on her little legs.  Mable never made it to the ball first, but she sure tried!  She was full of energy today.  When Brady came back with the ball, Mable ran around him and threw herself against his side to try to make him drop it, but Brady was unimpressed.  A Border Collie showed up who had unlimited playful energy and he stirred things up with all of the pack members.  He had Coco and Fletcher chasing him around for a while, he inspired Mable to break out an adorable double-paw-batting move as he hopped around her, and he even got Brady to run with him a bit.
