The Adventure Pack

Rucksack found a big branch to carry today, and Coco immediately started harassing him for it.  The moment he dropped the stick and backed off, Coco went on with her business sniffing the trail ahead and left the stick behind.  When Rucksack went back to get the stick, Coco's interest was renewed and she warded him away.  After this happened a few times, I decided Coco was just being a bully so I blocked her from going back to the stick and directed her to the trail ahead while letting Rucksack go back and get it.  She persisted in trying to steal it from him a few more times but eventually got the idea I wanted her to stop being rude, and then she let Rucksack run by her without any more harassment.  Later on, Mogul and Coco played together.  Coco bowed and barked at Mogul and got him to chase her around.  Every so often they would come to a momentary standstill until Coco made a move and Mogul went after her again.

The Play Pack

At the park, Coco got Fletcher and Mogul both to chase her around for a while.  Fletcher and Mogul are both big dogs and Coco eventually started feeling overwhelmed with them bearing down on her, so she stopped the chase and huddled against the fence for a minute while her two packmates sniffed and nudged her, trying to figure out why the fun stopped.  Meanwhile, Mable was sniffing around the perimeter of the park and Brady was greeting other dogs.  Brady met a big St. Bernard who got him excited.  He tried jumping on the St. Bernard to get him to play, but the big guy was more interested in sniffing Mable.  Mable is so much more comfortable now.  It used to be a challenge to get her to come up to me, and she would run away if I reached toward her.  Now she comes right up when I call and crouches in front of me to let me pet her.
