The Adventure Pack

Coco found a chunk of bone along the trails today and it immediately became the hot commodity.  Rucksack followed her around for a while and grabbed it up whenever she put it down for a moment; but Coco hopped around him until he dropped it and then she took it back.  Later, when Coco went on leash, Rucksack immediately grabbed up the bone and pranced around with it proudly; but his moment of self-satisfaction didn't last, as Mogul - who was eyeing the bone while he was on leash - immediately chased Rucksack for it.  Mogul's size and determination intimidated Rucksack into dropping the bone for him.  He followed Mogul around the rest of the time, harssing him and looking for any opportunity to steal it back, and his persistence eventually paid off.

The Play Pack

Mable hid under the bed again today when I showed up to pick her up, and Brady wasn't enough to lure her out this time.  I eventually used some pillows to block off the area under the bed so I could get to her.  The moment I got a hold of her, she crawled into my lap and lied down - if only she were so friendly to begin with!  At the park , Coco and Brady chased tennis balls again.  Brady also met a fluffy white female named Tate, about the same size as him (though she looked twice as big with her long, fluffy coat), who caught his interest; the two of them played by hopping around and on top of one another for a little while.  Tate's guardians joked that Brady wanted Tate to be his girlfriend.  Coco was also interested in playing with Tate, but her play was a little rougher than Tate liked, so I drew her attention away.  Mable enjoyed chasing Brady whenever Brady chased tennis balls.  Mogul's friend Oscar was at the park again today and the two of them romped around with each other again.  On the way home, Mable licked under Brady's eyes as he lied down and enjoyed the grooming.
