The Adventure Pack

Toskey found a ball left behind by another dog along the trails today and she had a great time teasing Coco with it.  They ran 'round and 'round a picnic table off the side of the Third Flatiron trail and Rucksack and Wesley (who were on leash at the time) danced in place as they watched the action with excitement.  Later on, Rucksack found a stick he liked and Coco chased him around for it.

The Play Pack

Pico, Fletcher and Coco started off their park visit with a lot of chasing.  Pico caught Fletcher's attention and took off, and Fletcher took pursuit.  At first, Pico was a bit intimidated by Fletcher's size and his German-Shepherd-typical play-growl, and she had her tail between her legs.  After just a minute, however, she spun around and gave him a firm growl and he backed right off; and then, knowing that Fletcher would respect her limits, her tail came out from between her legs and she goaded him into chasing her more.  Coco went back and forth between going after Pico and going after Fletcher.  Later on, Coco wrestled around with her park friend Keeyush (a big Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd mix) while Pico and Fletcher ran around more with a friendly black lab.  Pico spent almost her entire time at the park today running, and Fletcher and Coco got a lot of exercise too!

This is so cool... I can just picture Wesley and Rucksack's dance as they watched the chase! Glad to hear Wesley has made some new friends :)
