The Adventure Pack

Coco followed Mogul around on today's hike when they were off-leash together and Fletcher and Rucksack were on-leash.  Fletcher and Rucksack both pulled quite a bit at first (especially Fletcher) but they settled down after a little while and walked by my side.  When they switched places with Coco and Mogul, Rucksack followed Fletcher around - going where he went, sniffing what he sniffed.  We went up the path to the Third Flatiron at Chautauwua again, but we came back down the same side we went up to avoid the wasp-infested patch that resulted in a few stings in the past week.

The Play Pack

Coco started off the park visit by getting a little French Bulldog named Daisy to chase her.  It was really cute and all was going well until Coco stopped paying attention to where she was going and she collided full-speed with a fire hydrant.  She let out a yelp when she hit it and then limped over to me.  I gave her front left leg a gentle massage for a minute and then let her walk around and her limp was gone.  She immediately walked over to the hydrant and sniffed at it for a minute to figure what this unyielding obstacle was all about.  Thankfully, she was fine after that.  Later on, she played some fetch and then wrestled around with her pal Buzz.  Mogul made a great friend today!  His name is Oscar and he's about the same size as Mogul but with a slightly shorter, less fluffy coat.  He came over to Mogul and they stood poised like Mogul often does with other tall dogs - and then Oscar pawed at his face and the two of them started hopping and wrestling around together.  They were a perfect match for each other!
