The Adventure Pack

Mogul wandered off the trail a lot today to explore the brush and Coco and Rucksack followed behind him to see what smelled so interesting, but none of them seemed to find anything noteworthy.  Rucksack and Coco were again disinterested in carrying sticks.

The Play Pack

Coco found a spot in the dirt at the park that got her interest and she dug at it for a little while until she got to a root thread.  It was thin, less than 1/8" around, and once she uncovered it she grabbed it in her mouth and pulled.  It pulled up some dirt on either side, but stayed stuck in the ground.  I wonder if she smelled the root there to begin with or if it was a surprise for her when she came across it.  There was certainly something about that spot that really interested her, so I'm guessing it was the root to begin with.  Mogul spun around for another dog at the park today, but their play didn't go any further than that.  A biker came in to the park to fill his water bottle up at the spigot in the park and just about all the dogs decided it was necessary to bark at him (including Coco and Mogul).  I'm not sure who started it, but they pretty much all joined in; some of them didn't even seem to have a clue what they were barking at.  The biker didn't take offense and said, "They must be able to tell I'm a cat person - I have two at home".
